Second ‘Socceroos’ to reach round of 16… Australia beats India, Syria to advance to tournament

This will be the fourth Asian Cup appearance for Australia, who are considered Asia’s ‘big four’. They finished runners-up in Qatar in 2011 and won the tournament on home soil in 2015.
