“I played against SK twice after my (professional) debut,” Park said. I couldn’t get over the hump in the shootout and kept losing, but after joining OKZONE, I practiced the details well. My older brothers also made me aware of it, and I think that was a factor in our victory against SK,” he said.

Park Mubin scored at key moments to lead his team to victory.

“When I got the ball, I tried to breathe when I cut in, because if I stayed too close to the ball handler, I wouldn’t have any spacing. I think (Lee) Woo-seok’s positioning in the corners and at 45 degrees to what his brother was doing helped us get a lot of shots.”

Park Mubin is considered a strong Rookie of the Year contender alongside Yoo Yoo-sang and Moon Jung-hyun. In addition, he recently attended a luxury event and received a lot of attention from fans.

“It’s a lie if I say I’m not greedy. When I was in middle and high school, it didn’t work out because I was too greedy. For the first few games before the break, I was being talked about as a Rookie of the Year candidate, so there was pressure to show something. However, I think today’s game went well because I let go of my personal greed and relaxed like today.”

He continued, “I’m so grateful that the club is actively supporting me as a rookie. I feel like a lucky guy (laughs). The club has done so much for me, and now I have to pay them back with a win against Hyundai Mobis.”
