Two Thai luge athletes trained in Korea will participate in the Gangwon Winter Youth Olympics.

 Promising Thai luge players who received support from the Korea Luge Federation will participate in the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympics.The federation said on the 3rd, “Thai luge prospects Tirafat Sata (17) and Sunita Chaiyapanto (16) have recently performed well in international competitions and have become the first Thai athletes to step onto the Olympic stage.” The two athletes trained at the Pyeongchang Olympic Sliding Center in Gangwon-do in the summer of 2022 with support from the Luge Federation, the Korea Sports Council, and the 2018 Pyeongchang Memorial Foundation.
