SK wins 3 in a row at home, Warney wins, Oh is in recovery mode, Samsung snaps 19-game losing streak away from home

The Seoul SK Knights defeated the Seoul Samsung Thunder 82-75 on Tuesday at Jamsil Student Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea, in their home game of the second round of the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball Association (KBA). SK played its first home game in about a month. Jamil Warney led the way with 31 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in a full 40 minutes. He was complemented by Koby Coburn with 16 points and 13 rebounds. SK also got 15 points and eight rebounds from Oh Se-geun. He had a rough start to the season, but he’s picked up the pace.

While Coburn struggled, Samsung got 21 points from Lee Jung-hyun, including five three-pointers, and 10 points each from Kim Si-rae and Lee Won-seok. However, they became the first team to lose 19 consecutive games away from home since the inception of the KBL. It is the longest away losing streak in history. In the end, they lost because they couldn’t stop Warner.
