The San Diego Padres are slipping into a ‘self-inflicted’ slump.
San Diego has lost four straight games, all on the road against the Seattle Mariners.
As of Nov. 11, the Padres are 55-60 and 4.5 games out of the final playoff wild-card spot.
At this rate, the Padres won’t even make it to fall ball.
After the back-to-back losses to Seattle, players were reportedly meeting in the clubhouse.
“I’m sure there’s something going on in the San Diego clubhouse,” MLB Insider Ken Rosenthal said.
Juan Soto criticized the players’ mentality to reporters.
“We have to play as a team. We have to work hard every day. It’s really inconsistent. Some days we work hard and some days we don’t. We’re just 바카라 giving up. We’re just giving up. We have to forget about yesterday and keep moving forward.”
A season ago, San Diego had a “dreaded batting order” that had the team wondering how it should bat.
However, the team has won less than 5 percent of its games due to the continued struggles of its main players.
Along with the New York Mets, they have been the most disappointing team this season.
Only Kim Ha-Sung is “struggling. Kim leads the league in batting average, stolen bases, and bWAR.
