Daegu KOGAS leapfrogged into second place with a 33-point win over Anyang Jungkwanjang to extend its winning streak to three games.
GAS defeated Jungkwanjang 97-64 in a regular-season game of the 2024-2025 KCC on Tuesday at Anyang Gymnasium.
With its latest three-game winning streak, GAS improved to 3-1 on the season and moved into a tie for second place with Seoul SK and Changwon LG. Currently in first place is Goyang Sono, 무료 토토사이트 which has won four straight games to open the season.
Following a 70-83 loss to SONO on Nov. 28, the second straight loss by the largest margin of the season, Jungkwanjang dropped to 1-4 and tied for eighth place with Wonju DB.
GAS took a 26-21 lead in the first quarter, led by Andrew Nicholson, who poured in 15 points in the first quarter alone.
In the second quarter, Yushu Ndoye had a monster game with 14 points and five rebounds to help GAS take a 53-33 lead. At 26-26, GAS scored 20 consecutive points in a span of four and a half minutes to take the lead for good.
Jung Kwan-jang struggled in the second quarter, committing seven turnovers and shooting just 50 percent (3-of-6) from the floor.
The flow didn’t change much in the second half, and a three-pointer by Kim Nak-hyun with 1:42 left in the third quarter gave GAS a 30-point lead, 76-46. At the end of the third quarter, GAS led 78-51.
GAS completed the victory in the fourth quarter as Kwak Jung-hoon hit two three-pointers and scored 19 points, more than Jung Kwan-jang (13 points).
Led by Nicholson’s 20 points and six rebounds, five GAS players scored in double figures, including Eun Do-ye (16 points, eight rebounds), Sung-woo Jung (14 points), Nak-hyun Kim (13 points), and Dae-heon Lee (10 points, five rebounds, five assists), while Samjosef Belangel added seven points and eight assists.
Michael Young Jr. was the lone remaining double-figure scorer for Jungkwanjang with 21 points.
