Bayern Munich are targeting an England youngster as they look to bounce back next season.
On December 12 (ET), British newspaper The Sun reported that “Bayern are eyeing a move for Crystal Palace’s Adam Wotton. Wotton is an English youngster who has been called the next Jack Wilshere. Wotton, who can play in both central and defensive midfield, has been touted as England’s future due to his technical ability. The Blackburn youth product made his first-team debut at the age of 18 in 2022, and his impressive performances for a player of his age attracted interest from Premier League clubs, leading to his move to Crystal Palace in the January 2024 transfer window for £22 million.
Wotton immediately established himself as an integral part of the Palace midfield. His playmaking ability as well as his tackling and defense have been outstanding, and his last game against Manchester United was particularly noteworthy. Palace won 4-0 that day. It was the first time in the club’s history that they managed to sweep a game against United. It was the first time Palace had beaten United by more than four goals since a 5-0 win in 1972.

This is not the first time Bayern have shown interest in Wotton. Bayern actually tried to sign Warton in the January transfer window, but lost him to Palace, 스포츠토토 who offered more.
